Often times we see how a mobile phone is lost when it is traced. In this digital world where everything is done at home through the internet, whether to book tickets, get information about other countries, everything gets done sitting at home.
Most of all we use the internet, watch videos through youtube. But do you know who would have known your IP address? How to find out what the IP address is, how the location can be found through it, can the location be detected from mobile as well? Let us study this article.
How to trace someone else’s IP. So for this:
Let’s first study what is an IP address?
When you buy a car or bike, you are given a number which is written on the number plate. If someone does something wrong with any vehicle such as accident etc. then the owner of that vehicle can be reached through this number. Similarly, when purchasing mobile phones and giving ID proof, a number is also given. This number is found so that if someone does something wrong with a mobile phone or that number, then his address is found and it can be reached.
Similarly, when you use an Internet or online connection, such as WiFi, you are given an IP address while you are using the Internet. Then whenever you access or visit any website, every website has access to information about who you are, from which browser, which phone you are using, even they know it Let’s know what the IP address of the user is.
That is, an IP address is a technical term called Internet Protocol Address (IP Address). This means that all the computers in the network are connected or connected, whatever communication happens between them is only through IP address. No one knows what is the name of your computer or mobile phone but the IP address is the address. So all devices connected to the Internet, whether phones, computers, or if there are IOT devices such as a clock, fridge, etc., are also given an IP address. This address is available from companies providing an Internet connection. Suppose you have Jio, Airtel, Vodafone or any connection, then these people give you an IP address.
Now the question arises whether these companies themselves create IP addresses or take them from elsewhere. Let’s study.
Let us tell you that these IP addresses are provided to these companies by the IANA agency.
IANA is an Internet Assigned Number Authority. It provides IP addresses all over the world. It only sees what the IP address is given to whom.
How does IANA provide an IP address?
If you go to the web page of IANA, then you will see IP Addresses and AS Numbers in Number Resources. If you click on it, you will see that it has divided the entire world according to regions such as Asia, Africa, Europe, etc.
You all know that India also comes to Asia, so IANA has made it through APNIC. That is, all the Internet providing companies are in India, whether it provides IP address to Jio, Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, etc.
APNIC is the Regional Internet Registry administering IP addresses for the Asia Pacific. Now suppose that these companies have got a crushing IP in the bunch, then these companies will distribute the IP to different people.
Now if you want to know what is the IP that you have got: then how will we do it?
For this, go to Google and write what is my IP? Then you will know the IP address. This means that this IP is assigned to you and not given to anyone. If you do any work, then you can be tracked on which website you have visited.
APNIC has a record of who has given this IP address. If you go to APNIC’s page, you will see Who is & Website. On clicking on it, when you enter someone’s IP address, it will tell who was given this address, the name of that place and which company has been given.
Note: Whenever you turn your phone or modem on/off or turn the phone on during flight mode, your IP changes.
Let us tell you that people in India get dynamic IPs. That is the IP that keeps changing. Static IP is one that does not change, that is, whether the user is using the Internet or not the IP address does not change. Purchased with IP money from IANA. Suppose Vodafone has 200 IP addresses, but if it has to give IP addresses to 300 people, then Vodafone knows that these 300 people will not use the Internet at the same time. So these companies save their IP addresses. When users are not connected to the Internet, then one user’s IP is given to another user. Then when another user turns on or uses the Internet, a new IP is given to him.
But there can be a problem in all of these that if everyone will be connected to the internet simultaneously, then how will the IP address be given? In such a situation, the server goes down, maintenance starts or the internet connection is closed for some time. What will happen to this is that some users will go back and then the IP people start getting it. Hanna Funny thing.
Now let’s study how to find out who this IP is from home and what is its real-time location?
With the help of IANA, it can be found out where the person lives, in which country he lives, which city is it, but his real-time cannot be easily ascertained because IP is available to any user.
IP is available to any company, whether it is Airtel or Vodafone etc., then that company also has the data of this IP address which it maintains from which time to what time the user has used the Internet and what is his name. Which is taken while giving SIM through Aadhar card or Voter ID. With this, the number of the SIM, the person’s home is known but it is not given to everyone, for this, an order from the court or the intervention of the ISP can be told only then. It is not in the hands of any website or any human being to tell the real-time location through IP.
The ISP maintains the data at its level that on this date, at this time, a user used the Internet, etc. The ISP keeps all these data private.
Similarly, using the Internet from a mobile phone, with the help of his IP address, the real-time location of the person can be found out if necessary.
